Step 1
This will be the petal color of your origami 8-petal flower.
Step 2
Flip the paper. This will be the stalk of your origami flower.
Step 3
Fold the paper in half.
Step 4
Unfold.
Step 5
Fold the paper in half again at the opposite diagonal angle.
Unfold.
Step 6
Fold the paper in half in the horizontal middle.
Step 7
Unfold.
Step 8
Fold the paper again in the vertical middle.
Unfold.
Step 9
Bring all corners to the meet in the middle.
Step 10
Fold the paper, making an origami square base.
Step 11
Make a crease in the middle of the square.
Step 12
Fold one flap down to the middle.
Step 13
Fold away the folded flap and bring another flap to the front.
Step 14
Fold the flap down to the middle.
Step 15
Repeat with all flaps.

This is how your paper should look like from the top.

Flip the flap to one that has a full diamond shape.

Fold the top corner down.
Step 19
Repeat on all top corners.

Fold the paper in the middle.

Fold the bottom corner to the right.

Unfold and bring the fold to the middle of the paper.

Unfold and spread the flaps outward.

The unfolded flaps should look like an 8-pointed star.
These points will be the petals of your origami flower.

Pinch upward the tips of all 8 points.
